Savala Equipment Rentals: Supporting Altadena and Pacific Palisades Fire Recovery

The Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire, which ignited on January 7, 2025, devastated the Pacific Palisades and Altadena areas, burning 23,448 acres and destroying 6,837 structures. The Palisades Fire, fueled by fierce Santa Ana winds, became the third-most destructive in California history, with economic losses estimated at $52 billion to $57 billion according to preliminary reports. The Eaton Fire, burning concurrently, consumed 10,600 acres and destroyed over 200 structures, adding to the region’s challenges. Together, these fires displaced thousands and tested the community’s resilience.

Amid this crisis, Savala Equipment Company provided rental equipment, assisting with the Palisades and Eaton Fire clean-up. Known for reliable equipment rentals, Savala deployed excavators and backhoes to clear hazardous debris, as seen in the attached photos. One image shows an excavator loading debris into a truck, while another captures the machine’s tracks on ash-covered ground. This effort reflects Savala’s deep community commitment, extending beyond business to aid recovery.

For decades, Savala has prioritized helping with earthquake, fire, and storm damage in the area. By assisting with equipment, they’re helping the Pacific Palisades and Altadena areas rebuild, fostering hope and unity. The third photo, showing a leveled site with burned trees, highlights their efforts.

From humble beginnings in California, Savala has grown into a trusted name, not just for their top-tier equipment but for their heartfelt commitment to the surrounding community. As recovery continues, Savala remains committed to these ongoing efforts.
